Make a LEFT from the ferry dock and check out the hip side of Ocean Beach, around the bend on the East End. Housers will be on your left. Come on in!

When taking the Long Island Rail Road:
Consult the Bayshore schedule. http://lirr42.mta.info There's a $5 / 4 minute jitney always waiting at the Bayshore station. Or a pleasant walk past the gas station, up 4th Ave—which becomes Maple Ave., leads you straight to the Ocean Beach Ferry Terminal, with a big sign, on your left. Walking takes 17 to 23 minutes, depending on your pace!
When Driving (from the LIE)
From the Long Island Expressway, take exit 53–Sagtikos Parkway South to Southern State Parkway—towards Eastern Long Island (left fork).
Take Southern Parkway to the first exit— 42 South- Fifth Avenue.
Make a left at the stop sign and then a right onto Fifth Avenue.
Take Fifth Avenue to first traffic light after LIRR tracks.
Make left onto Union Blvd.
Turn right at 3rd light onto Fourth Ave.
Continue approx 1/3 mile past second set of traffic lights as Fourth Ave becomes Maple Ave.
Make a left at the the big sign for the Ocean Beach Ferry terminal.
